I had a blast in Scottsdale for my bachelorette and wanted to share all the details so you can have a fun time too! I love planning a great party and this was no exception. The more planning you do, the more fun you’ll have!

How to Plan for a Bachelorette
Everyone has their own idea of fun, so make sure you plan a weekend that the Bride will enjoy. If you’re the Bride, write down a few ideas and let your bridesmaids take the planning from there. I scheduled my bachelorette five months before my wedding, which some might think is early, but I really wanted to enjoy it and be stress-free before all the wedding planning started.
Here are a few tips for planning:
- Send out invites early! You want your friends to block their calendars.
- Make an itinerary with an equal mix of planned activities and downtime. See my itinerary below.
- Book your restaurant reservations 1 month ahead of time for big groups.
- Plan a few coordinated outfits ahead of time if you want.

Bachelorette Party in Scottsdale
I would highly recommend Scottsdale, Arizona for your Bachelorette party. It has everything from nice restaurants to great bars. It is very hot in Scottsdale from June to September so I’d avoid going in those months if you can. Here’s a list of my favorite places we went to in Scottsdale:
- Restaurants
- Oil and Ivy – Delicious! Make a reservation 1 month out for a large group.
- Diego Pops – Casual, great tacos and margaritas
- Tommy V’s – Great for groups and affordable
- The Mission Scottsdale – Best for a nice dinner or drink before going out
- Bars
- Old Town – stop here first for “country bars”
- The main bar strip, there are ten bars in a row if you want to bar hop.
- Things to do
- Visit the Desert Botanical Gardens
- Hike the Sunrise Peak Trail
- Walk around Old Town Scottsdale
- Where to Stay
- If you’re looking for somewhere to stay, I would recommend the AirBnb we stayed at. It had a great pool and it was in a great location. If you’d rather stay at a hotel there are lots of great options such as The Saguaro or The Scott.
