It’s been 6 months since we moved into our new house and we finally got an area rug for the living room! It took months of searching, mainly because we couldn’t find one that we liked at the right price point. Believe me, area rugs can get expensive! It was hard to justify investing in a nice rug that our dogs would then chew on, have accidents on, track mud in the house …. you know all the fun stuff that puppies like to do. So, I went on a hunt for affordable rugs and wanted to share what I found.

Wayfair
Wayfair always has great rugs that are in style at affordable prices. My favorite rug from Wayfair is this Caitlin Wilson dupe that is just under $150 for the 8’x10′ size. I want to order this rug for our guest room.
Home Depot
Most people wouldn’t expect to find rugs at Home Depot, but they have surprisingly nice rugs at great prices!
Overstock
Overstock is great place to find rugs that are cheap for your living room, dining room or bedroom!
Ruggable
I haven’t tried a Ruggable rug yet, but I want to! Ruggable is a stain-resistant rug that you can wash. YES – you can actually put them in the washer! They have affordable rugs and the price includes a rug pad. This rug is perfect for anyone with pets.
